Sorry for the delay folks! Between studying for finals, getting stuck in the airport due to a blizzard, and catching a cold – it doesn’t seem like there has been much time to recommend any anime series! But don’t worry, now that I’m back and better than ever, these anime recommendations will keep rolling out.
Since the last two recommendations have been action-ey series, time to switch up the pace with some good ol’ fashion slice of life cutesy stuff. Bamboo Blade anyone?

The premise of Bamboo Blade is the story of a kendo club striving to place number one at Japan’s national high-school kendo tournament. Well, it doesn’t start off like that but doesn’t start off that way but doesn’t every series need a high goal in order to live on? But the attraction of this anime isn’t the plot, it’s the “moe~moe~” characters that appear in it.
You got a character for whichever kind of personality type you enjoy. You got the protagonist Tama, whose silent idea of justice will prevail over all. Kirino, the “genki girl” who always has a smile on here face (positive thinking!). Miya-miya, pretty on the outside but evil on the inside. Saya, the girl with too much energy and attention to control (ADHD?). Satori, the clumsy meganekko – you know every club needs one.
So sit back and relax with the Kendo Club. It was a fun watch for me and I hope it will be the same for you.
