Overview:
Before he was exacuted, the legendary Pirate King Gold Roger revealed that he had hidden the treasure One Piece somewhere in the Grand Line. Now, many pirates are off looking for this legendary treasure to claim the title Pirate King. One pirate, Monkey D. Luffy, is a boy who had eaten the Devil’s Fruit and gained rubber powers. Now he and his crew are off to find One Piece, while battling enemies and making new friends along the way.

My favourite of all the large anime series. I do admit it’s hard to get into, but it’s really good when you get into the later episodes! I think the plot is good and the filler arc’s aren’t too bad either. Luffy and his crew are a great clash of characters and I think anyone who likes pirates, epic battles and weird powers will love this series!

Yeah true, hard to get into it. I couldnt. I don’t get why people can vote this more than a 3 out of 5 (im generous). Not my type at all, theres plenty of quality animes so dont waste your time on this one.

One piece has it all, from the chronically funny characters and situations, to the tear jerking, sad moments. An author has to be good to make the death of a character sad, but he has to be a genius to make the death of a fricking ship very sad.
Starting from east blue, one of the 5 seas of the one piece world, Monkey D. Luffy will gather nakama in order to travel the grandline and finally find the ultimate treasure. On the menue are crazy characters, crazy abilities, crazy villains and huge underlying plot the further you get into the story.
Overall, when I started one piece, i took one week to get to like it, and 2 weeks to finish all the fricking 380 episodes that were left.
According to me, deserves to be the best ever 5/5

wow 2 weeks thats kinda hardcore
anyways have to agree the series is EPIC in terms of story alone if you compare to other series of the same genre ,yeah there’s your occasional fillers but main plot is awesome and is very addicting
so just skip the fillers if you can , lots of action and its very funny it will make you laugh out loud but at the same time can bring tears in your eyes
well if your into shounen definitely a must try just bear with the first 10 or 20 episodes cause its kinda bad but around the nami arc gets good though

I think people don’t like it because they take a look at the description and not like it because its pirate genre.They never consider the plot
